Thanks for the kind words guys. Believe it or not, I've been in worse places (if you take away the people trying to kill me).
But honestly, I really do appreciate everyone wishing me well.
I don't think I'll make D*C this year, but I'm DEFINATELY gonna hit D*C 08.

Hey everyone. Since Wes hasn't posted an update in a while, thought I would. He's doing well. I get to talk to him about once or twice a week if we're lucky, but I usually get an email from him almost every day. Tried to upload a pic, but couldn't find the right image hosting site.

Try www.imageshack.us that is what I usually use.
Anyhoo, I have a metric butt ton of pics I will be sending to ya on a thumbdrive since the service is so slow here.
Things are going well over here. We started missions the other night and I am working 18-20 hour days. Right now I am at the infantry unit HQ and they have internet access.
Oh yeah, I was selected for promotion to E-7/Sergeant First Class!

Yeah, everything is going good. We've started missions and we have been extremely successful. I wish I could say more about it, that's all I'm allowed to.
I generally work 18-20 hour days, but I was blessed with a 27 hour day on Monday. The days do seem to bleed together over here, but you get used to it I guess.
I get pinned on Monday, so I'm really looking forward to that. Brandy will have a lot of pics to post once I get a chance to mail off the picture disc.
Now, if I could only get FettPride to answer my PMs.............

I think it's cause he takes all those side trips to the middle east to build real armor for the U.S. special operations groups operating near where you are Wes, in between building plastic armor for us mere mortals.

Just wanted to give a quick update. We finally got a new internet cafe so we have highspeed internet now. I can also upload some pics.
This is me at one of Saddam's old palaces. I saw this window and thought: "DEATH STAR!"
This is the "Mother of all Mosques". Supposedly, it was going to be bigger than the one at Mecca, which is a no-no.
Here's me and my LT at my promotion.
I have a metric butt-ton of pics, but that's all for now. I'm still alive, kicking and fighting the good fight. Can't really say what I do, but I can say my team is very successful at finding bad guys so the infantry can catch 'em. Or kill 'em if they put up a fight.
