North Texas LARP

greetings, mandalorians!

I'm currently writing the rules system for a Live Action Role Play game called Osleta.

- I am matthias longshore, the admin. You will probably notice im the only one who's posted anything on the site recently because well, no one really knows about it yet.

if you dont know what the heck a LARP (or L.ive A.ction R.ole P.lay) is, its basically where adults (and teenagers like myself) can get together and play pretend like we did when we were kids. ever wanted to be a knight in shining armor as a kid and as you got older you wanted to buy the suit of armor 'just for decoration'? yeah, you know you wanted to wear it!

anyway, its basically dungeons and dragons but in real life, and with safe, foam weapons, so even a child could participate in this game. It is basically free, just bring like 5$ or so to get into the state parks, bring a tent and sleeping bag and bring a medieval costume!

email me or message me on the goblin's keep forums because i rarely check my dented helmet account.

p.s., if this topic thingy makes you feel like im a spammer ill take it down immediately. I dont want to be thought of as a spammer

yeah, some larps are alittle rediculous. but then again, we do have lightning bolts in this larp too lol, actually here is a link to our larp's video -

i did all the editing and such, im the one that looks like a fat-rogue-ninja thing lol

Ahahahaha, I love the "Lightning Bolt!" video. Classic.

I'll probably never get into that LARP stuff, but I wouldn't mind going out in full Mando armor and playing some airsoft or laser tag (more forgiving on the armor ;) ).

well, larp is pretty funny but pretty much all the youtube videos are just making fun of larpers, so dont look on youtube for cool larp stuff lol, watch a video called Darkon and you'll get more of what the larps i go to are like
