I know there is an ongoing problem with the whole monthly T-shirt run debacle, but what about the usual winter run for the old school red TDH T-shirts? Is it still going to happen? I can't find an intrest/sign up thread and it should have been posted on the first of the month

I have done some graphic design before. (It's what I do! Computers anyway, such as websites and graphic art)
Someone should have a competition for a new graphic (Because everyone should get a chance at it!)
A few things that would be neccasary to know are would it be full color or just black on an any color T-shirt.
i'm the merch guy for my garrison, and my fiancee is the merch gal for the pathfinders detachment (biker scouts)... if you want help facilitating a tshirt run, LMK.... i'd be willing to help. we just did tshirts for the pathfinders, and are looking to do coins for them in the future

No read the rules of conduct...you have to talk to the mods, and can not make $ off the TDH name...

I'm not disagreeing, as it's just common courtesy to ask for permission if you're going to sell the TDH brand anyway, but basically every FS thread on this forum is a bootleg unlicensed reproduction...
The code of conduct you agree'd to by signing up says you'll get permission bottom line...as long as it benefits the site and you give back no ones gonna say no to a TDH shirt. If you do decide to make a shirt...from Soniks troubles I can say make sure your ready to have them made and have a reputable person who is making them...his shirt guy kinda screwed things up.
I would have thought a constant run of TDH merchandise sold through the site would be a good thing and help to keep finances healthy for the board to continue.. Seems to be an awful lot of threads from a lot of folk all after the same end product.
Time to appoint a merchandising officer for the site and make him/ her the focal point for all runs of coins, shirts, caps, helmet bags, umbrellas, mugs, etc etc etc...
We are a huge worldwide community, it would be nice to be able to show our membership and raise the profile a wee bit more..
Yeh that would be nice but I dont think anyone ever WANTS to do it....Id like to be able to order things though....I am working on finding a National Stock # on a REALLY sweet helmet bag...very padded

I know I'm a nobody here, but there are sites out there that would allow someone to design an official shirt and then share it with Art and whoever else for approval. Once that is done, you can receive a quote based on how many you want and the colors selected. You can even get proofs to ensure it will turn out the way you want. I ran a quick a dirty one through the system just to get something to show you. I used the graphics that were discussed above as an example. The word I have on the back "EXAMPLE" can be anything from a 501st designation or whatever else the powers that be want. I don't think this process would be impossible, I just think someone would need to bless it and someone would need to want to take it on. Food for thought.

EDIT: I could help with this endeavor if it is decided that there was a desire to move forward with it. We'd likely need to have someone like Art identify desired shirt colors as well as graphics if they are to use currently available TDH graphics. When printing though, more colors = more money, so simple may not be a horrible way to go. Based on other threads, I'll gladly let someone else take on the whole financial aspect of it, but I am offering my services to help with the design.
