Hello all.... I'm John and I'm a Fettaholic. Have been a lurker here for a while and have been on the RPF for a few years (as JangoJohn). Have been a Star Wars fan since forever it seems.... was 6 when I saw it in 1977.

Still have all the stuff I collected back then (wish I would've kept that damn early bird special that I'm sure many of us got for X-Mas in '77 though), but didn't really focus on Boba Fett till the Special Ed's came out in '97. Had always thought he was the coolest character in the SW Universe, but only had two items at the time (my original Fett action figure and the original 12") Since then I went nuts collecting everything I saw having to do with B. Fett.... and am now at over 200 items and counting (everything from figures, statues, comics, books, etc.). The wife finally let me have a full room to display everything when we bought our house a couple of years ago.

After having picked up a set of armor pieces from Mark Bradley about 8 years ago, I finally decided to get off my butt to try to get my costume completed. Thanks to Richies Armor for my bucket re-paint and several other items, I spent about three weeks straight working on it to try to get it wearable by Halloween last year. I favor the ESB Fett over Jedi, but my costume ended up a combination of both. I know it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.... still need to dirty it up and plan on tweaking it every now and then. Don't judge too harshly.....

Like everyone else has said, great start! Much better than my first attempt. My current armor is MB as well (chest, back, shoulders, and cod). There's only a few major things that jump out at me that need to be changed/upgraded: and I'm going for a ROTJ:SE so i'm sure there's things I'll miss, but for starters there's adding the yellow color around the scratches on the armor, the flame thrower on the gauntlet changed to ESB style, placement of the ammo pouches (super easy fix), and if you are going for ESB/ROTJ:SE you gotta have the cat scratch on the helmet, besides the dent that's the "trademark" that really identifies that helmet.
like I said it's worlds ahead of my first attempt so i'm not knocking by any stretch so don't misunderstand where I'm coming from. Not trying to judge too harshly just mabye pointing you in the right direction for those tweaks you are planning for every now and then.

    Oh, and welcome to thedentedhelmet!
