New Website!

Hello all, its been a while since I posted on TDH, but I wanted to let you all know I have started a website called TheSmugglersRoom.com Its a sight dedicated to my Prop, Costume, and Man Cave projects but I also wanted to use it as a way to help folks get directed to sites like TDH and the RPF. In addition I thought it would be a great place to post artwork and images done by members of this group, however I thought I would check with you all concerning your artwork before putting that on my site. I do have a couple of images on there right now that I would be happy to remove in the event the creators do not want it on there. The work being done at TDH is great, and I just wanted to share it along with my own stuff.

Let me know your thoughts, and opinions as always appreciated about my site and current work. Please forgive me as the site is in an infant stage, but I'll keep working and update you along the way.

Wow man... that website looks AMAZING! I love that black and white Fett on the Boba Fett page, and photos of works in progress, looks great! I'm currently browsing through your jetpack WIP photos as I'm currently building mine as well :D

Thanks brother! Its a work in progress. The jetpack was my first and a little rough, at the time I had only a few weeks to get it done. I am hoping to set up my Fett costume later this summer on a display mannequin in my home theater, and then slowly go back through the entire Fett project piece by piece to replace items with real quality replicas. I got started because Halloween was around the corner, but now I'm hooked and really want an accurate design like some of those done on this site.

Yeah I was in the same boat as you for awhile there, just wanted the costume to be recognizable enough to go out on Halloween of last year. The whole thing turned out relatively decent, but I didn't get a jetpack finished in time so I went without :( The goal for me is still Halloween this year, but I'm rebuilding quite a few pieces of the costume (probably will create some WIP threads at some point), and ordering higher quality parts from people like LadySewForUs so I'm really excited about getting everything together! The jetpack too should be done finally for this year :p I just need an easier way to create an accurate looking rocket.
Looking forward to seeing your suit!

I like it :) But some links didn't work.... I have developped some webpages in HTML+PHP and I know that sometimes keeping all links working is difficult :p

For example, when you're on the R2 section the "back to album" link doesn't work.

And... in order to make the site more friendly-user I'd make bigger the link buttons and I'd add a "back" button that would return to the previous page. That can be done using sesions.
But these are only cosmetic suggestions :) I really like your props and the general dessing of the site ;)

Thanks for the site input, the site is a little rough and needs work for sure, but I appreciate the feedback. Glad to hear you liked it.
