New Millennium Falcon WOW!!

I just picked up the new Falcon....WOW this thing is HUGE

I must say that it is much better than I ever expected!!

Looks very nice! I remember having one quite a few years ago, not sure what i did with it Brings back memorys though

I had this in my hands a Target yesterday, I just couldn't pull the trigger and drop the $150 on it. Even my 5 year old put his hand on my shoulder and told me, "Put it back dad, too many dollars". I REALLY wanted it.

Hey DM when your wife tells you to stop running around the house pretending to fly....call me and I'll come help ya hang it from the celing with 20lb fishing line...That would be sweet in your trophy room! Get a few TIE fighters to hang around it, OR a SLAVE I!

sweet lord, a kid could injure themselves swinging that about re-creating dog fights with tie fighters!!

I think I could fit in that thing!!! Awesome!!!

I saw that yesterday at toys R Us while hunting down the new clone wars stuff. I still have my old one but that new one is very impressive!! Now all you need is that rerelease of the tie fighter. It's a Toys R Us exclusive I think. BTW, George is a fiend with the marketing ploys. Have you seen the new clone wars toy line??? There are three different types of toys to collect. Why does everything cool come out when I need to save....???

Thats pretty cool!!! I have a falcon I got back in 95 when I was kid and i thought that was huge! Very cool addition!

Very cool.....all things considered $150 isn't that bad. DM, how about some closeups and different shots of it....I'm dying to see more!

I did the same thing last night at toys-r-us.Picked the box up and its a little heavier and so was the price tag. My kid said the same thing to much money.

Saw this at target, almost bought it. Would have if I wasn't getting married this week. Trying not to scare her off. But I did pick up the clone helmet for $30 bucks, sweeeet!

It is awesome...but I can't spend that much on it when I have to worry about dragoncon...I still hope to buy a $179 camera...so I gotta weigh it...$150 on the Falcon, or $179 on a camera...BAH!

Give it a couple months...it will be $100 or less...I hope!

LOL!!! I thought the same thing. I dont remember the older toys having this good of detail. Toys R Us will carry it for a while. I know I'll get it for my son eventually. My job might be going on strike by the weekend, so no money to spend until I know for sure. BOYS NEED THEIR TOYS!!!!!!!!!

I picked one of these up today while the wife was at work. I got some pretty serious looks when she got home. It was my 5 year old son who saved the day when he said, "Daddy, you haven't brought home star wars stuff in along time". Nuff said, she was off my case. This thing has so many cool electronic gadgets and missles that fire, and things that turn, and lights everywhere. Definitely worth the 150.00.

Wow! I just kinda wanted one, after seeing Jodo's pics, I really want one to open, and I never open my stuff!

$150 to $170 !!!!!!!!

On a side note, sorta depressed, because for all of what I spent at MM, I could of had a hyperfirm MG34.

Man that is one neat "toy"!! Too bad they waited 30 years to make it that nice ......eh...my old ESB circa 1980 gave me countless hours of fun

Yeah, I just picked one up yesterday. I saw it and had to have it. The wife was not happy, but there was no way I was putting it back.

I did not even know one that size was coming out. I put it together and love it!!! The coolest feature is when you hit the button for the ramp, it is spring loaded, and when it comes down, two yellow lights shine down and it makes a cool mechanical, hydrolic, steam venting sound.

It's awesome!

My only complaint is the landing gear. They pop on and off pretty easy, when you make something as cool as this, you gotta have retractable landing gear.

Saw it, want it, cant afford it.... *sighs*

If it would have been $100 i'd have bought it when i saw it at walmart.

I think of it like the royal starship in 1999 for The phantom menace.

It started at $129.99 or something and I ended up getting it for $39.98 clearance when they realized how much TPM they were sitting on 6 months later.


I think there are going to be a lot of falcons lying around and with the size the price will go down to at least $120 pretty quickly.

I bet these will be $100 by christmas.

Maybe i can even find a toys r us 25% off $50 or more purchase coupon somewhere. I know they have coupons like that there.


I just know i want it and $150 i can afford, but am never going to pay.
