Well I guess I will stop Lurking and make an account.

I am new.

I would like to make myself a nice costume one day, but will start with something I can use for Halloween and slowly upgrade. It looks like we have a cool garrison in Utah as well, but I have yet to talk to them.

Anyway, I would appreciate any help or guidance as I begin construction on this project.

I will see what the budget allows for, but am excited to try none the less.

Welcome.. Search yes.. I think the Trash Can Armour threads are good to start. once you start Seeing what can done with items around your house or cheap 2nd hand stores your imagination will fly. I mean I save so much "garbage" of cool pieces that I think i might use one day.. eg. Lids.. medicine lids.. bottle lids. Throwing something out.. Take it apart and see whats inside. like a camera.. lots of cool pieces or "greebles" you could use for guns or costumes. Just be warned.. People may think you're crazy... We won't though.

alpine garrison in utah is pretty large and fairly active, especially in and around the SLC area. it shouldn't take long to find some people around there to help you out.
