Long time since i logged some hours in this forum...

Anyways.. i'm at world end on this little project of mine.. I need some one who can make / or has the groin / cod peice for Jango / Boba / Mandalorian.

This peice..

Just the basic shape.

I tried doing it using Sketchup, managed to do the front and bottom but did not manage to make the face between the two layers connect at the "bottom".

Tried using 3D studio max but that just gave me a headache...

I've googled the net and searched the forum and no one seems to have done the cod piece yet.

So... is there anyone out there who can help a fellow mando out?

Cheers,

Try using a trial or student learning version (if you are a student) of Autodesk Maya (2011 I hear is the least buggy). I've had really good results with modeling in that program.

As for the cod piece you have, nice work so far. I'm impressed you were able to get it out of sketchup and into 3ds max. The dark green line on the top is bothering me though. You may have to double check how the UVs are laid out.

Hope this helps.

I actually got some help from fellow legion members so for now i'm good.

Btw.. that pic is taken from the net and then edited to show what i was looking for... :D

I have also been looking for a pep'd model of the cod piece. Feirfek on theRPF had all but this piece but he said he was working on it, no word on when he'll finish it. all of my attempts in autocad and sketchup have failed. if you do get this piece done i would be interested in it, if you're willing to share :)
