Natasha Richardson has passed

Wife of Liam Neeson (Qui Gon Jinn in Episode I) has passed. It is with a heavy heart that I post this. Neeson is one of my favorites, both in and outside of the Star Wars world. I wish him and his family strength through this difficult time

Such a tragedy. I couldn't believe it either. To many deaths this year
alone. Such a great family.

I just saw that, pretty terrible. Something went horribly wrong if it was a beginner ski lesson.

Very sad news. Apparently she wasn't wearing a helmet. Looked like a completely innocent tumble and potential life-saving paramedics were turned away initially.....Heart wrenching.....

ya i heard the news on the radio today that must be so hard i couldnt imagine losing a wife or girlfriend i pray for his family

I grew up in Colorado and have been a ski instructor for 20 years and I can't fathom a simple tumble being so tragic. I have never worn a helmet while skiing nor have I made my kids...that all just changed. Sad, sad story.

I was so sad to hear this news. The family will be in my prayers.

So sad! and we're the same age. The thing that gets me is several times in my life I've fallen and hit my head pretty hard on concrete. Had a headache afterward, but otherwise with no ill effects. Wonder why that is so? Her fall suppossedly wasn't that bad.
