Does anyone recognize this figure. Obviously, it was post-Star Wars and was part of a small set of 12-inch scale figures. The other ones were a C-3PO knock-off and a R2 knock off. The two droids even had a spacecraft accessory you could buy.

If anyone can help me identify the name of this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I totally recognize that figure, but remember nothing about its name or history.

Out of randomness... you have pics of the 3PO and R2 knockoffs handy?

Had one of these as well, In late 70's early 80's. Was in the UK at the time... Dark Avenger sounds kinda right!

I did google searches for "Dark Avenger" and found nothing. Also, I don't have the other droids and have no pictures.

Do you have the actual figure? Is there a brand name on it etc? That might help out in tracing it's origins and name. Kinda got me curious now.

The members of Star Team were Zem-21 and Zeroid.

    Strange, strange memories.

I did costume based on the Knight of Darkness when I was younger. Not sure if I have a photo handy, but if I can find it, I'll share.

    Be well,
    Thomas

Fantastic! Yep, the Ideal logo was on the back of the helmet. An Ebay search led me to one that is up for auction. Not going for very much, so I'll just hang onto it to remind me of just how popular Star Wars is...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
