My Mini Star Wars Home Theater *Picture Intensive*

Hey All,

I have finally almost finished my mini Star Wars home theater and wanted to share some pictures. The only thing I have left to do is hang 3 more posters, add 2 more seats, and build an elevated box for the chair in the back. I have not decided if I want the other 2 chairs to be gamer chairs or oversized bean bags. This is a great room for me and my son to enjoy movies and XBOX in (except he is only 21 months old, so it is mostly for me right now!)

Sorry for some of the poor pictures, I wanted to show the lighting without the flash and a few came out blurry.

I custom painted Vader's Tie Fighter, although you can hardly tell in the picture. I hated that nasty blue color it came in.

This new Milleniunm Falcon is one of my favorite pieces!

These are also some of my favorite pieces. All the original, unused, Burger King glasses that I collected when I was a kid. They came out in the late 70s and early 80s.

Also, notice my original ROTJ lunch pale and thermos? I used this as a kid. Bring back memories for anyone?

What? I'm not your son anymore?:)cry

I realy like it, do you mind me asking where you got your display cases from? Ikea? :)

Nice! I love that shade of gray on the walls, and great use of space in the room.

Thanks, I liked the gray, it came out nice. My wife actually did not want me to paint the whole room, but I told her it would look good. She loves it now! I was going to stencil in some details in a real light gray, almost white, to give it the same effect as the Death Star walls. Then I figured with the cabinets and posters, if would have been a waste.

Great room bruv...
As Lopero said, I love how you depicted various scenes from the movies! even on the ceiling with the trench attack... (y)

I like the positioning of things. Someone mentioned your figures in the movie scenes. Thats the best part, which unfortunately I wanted to point out:)

You need to have the TIE Fighters chasing the xwings;) you have them backwards.

or is it just my wierd sense of remembrance:)

overall though, that looks sweet:)

Yeah, for the X-Wing and Tie Fighters I just wanted the "good guys" to be chasing the "bad guys". That part wasn't intended to depict an exact seen.

I was originally going to have the X-wing being followed by Vader's Tie Fighter, which would be followed by the Millenium Falcon, which would depict the end of the trench scene. But I did not want to hang the Falcon because I love bringing it off the shelf and showing it off!

WOW, Im typically not a big fan of loose figs. But you did an awesome job setting them up with their own scenes. Great job on the room, im sure your son will enjoy this alot while growing up. :cheers

Great work! I love home theaters and hope to someday have the space for one of my own. I can totally appreciate how much effort you put into this!

Care to share what kind of sound system you are using?
