Hi TDHers,
Today was my final "duty day" in the US Air Force. I'm retiring effective Jan 1st, 2011. I began my military career on April 10th, 1987, so by the time my official retirement date rolls around I will have logged 8,667 days in the Air Force!! That's 23 years 8 months 21 days. This Monday will begin my outprocessing and terminal leave days.
I've been proud to serve my country over the years and have had some amazing and unforgettable experiences. I've been stationed at 6 different bases on 3 continents and now it's time to begin a new phase in my life.
I've made good friends here on TDH just as I have in the military, and just wanted to share a milestone day in my life and career!
Eric
