the kilt is made from a real army half-shelter and weathered to match the cape.

But what do you guys think? ( don't mind the helmet. It's my first one I ever made. Won't be using it for the costume but it was the one my GF brought me)

should i keep the spats? or the yellow part for the flashes..?? Do I keep the knife or lose it? Put in all of the shin tools?

Almost 50 views and no thoughts? Either everyone is laughing too hard or too stunned to comment...

Anyways.. Here is a close up of the sporran....

I do hope that its possible to see where I took inspiration from.

Oh.. And the flash really bled out the red on the lid. In natural light they are much more "in tune" with each other..

I like it! How about a full picture without the ammo belt? I like the look with just the sporran. I kept getting distracted by the antlers- especially the third picture- as if they were part of the helmet!--

I remember hearing this one in the 80s on a local radio morning show.

I dont think the sleeves do the whole thing any justice...I think you should see what it looks like without them
The yellow bits are distracting. Overall its kinda neat...if your into wearing kilts which I guess you are?

I was a bit unsure about the spats as well.. As for the yellow pieces on the sides I wanted to have something yellow to replace the knee.. And the flashes ( the cloth tabs on the side) usually match the kilt and I didn't have any yellow cloth so that's why I made those yellow "armor" pieces.

And yes. I sewed the kilt myself.. With some consulting with my girl friend.

Here are some other pics taken when the kilt was completed.

Dude, I am doing a kilted mandalorian for this years Day of Wrong at our Ren Fest. Your Kilted Boba is amazing. I love every detail, i would say keep the flashes and the single shin tool. Would you be willing to turn my spare shelter half into a kilt? I would ship it and pay you as well. I am working on a ROTJ Boba and would love to do a similar variation.

I guess I could... But if you have access to a sewing machine I could easily coach you... The only hard part is the math..
