My Girlfriend Attacked her Mando Helmet

This is My girlfriends first ever custom helmet build. She did a warrior inspired by the Mardi Gras indians in new orleans. We picked up a couple of buckets from Animefan at this point she is about 90% done Christine says she still has to add a modified antenna instead of a RF and I heard her mumbeling about how long her skull was takeing to get here.. So we'll see how that plays out. she was a little hesitant to share, let her know what you think. Thanks for the awesome platform Ryan. Now we'll have to build her a suit to match.

that is intense! i look forward to seeing how the rest of the costume comes together.
 
Thanks Guys for the comments, she put a lot of work in in a short time. for the colors she went with copper leaf and is waiting for it to patina some before she seals it and the feathers make it huge to say the least. I dont even want to say how much we have invested in this project. she is thinking about doing a tuskin slug thrower for her weapon to keep the over all feel going. I think we are going to be destroying her mannequin to make her armor plates. The whole time she has been building it she was worried people would not get it. I kept telling her to just be passionate about what she was building and she'd do just fine. I'm really proud of her. now if I could find the time to get my own project going, I figured as long as I got her into this she'd never question how much work Ill have to put into my fett.

I feel like this needs a tribal looking salacious crumb... Like a mini feather headdress, and some warrior face paint. It would look awesome on display with a whole suit!

While it will have leather the armor is going to be solid, though I think she's leaning towards "slave leia esque" loin cloth in stead of a cod piece.

She was talking today about stealing my salacious from my display at the tattoo shop. A little paint and customizing would make for a great pet you're right.

Wow! That looks really cool. The added feathers must add
over a foot of height to the helmet. Should look really imposing once she's all decked out! (y)

Thanks Superjedi, All the support is boosting her confidence to jump into her armor. I put the helmet on so she could see how it will behave when she wears it imposing is a good word. she did not skimp on the feathers its a foot to a foot and a half above the helmet, and very full.
Thanks for helping me boost her confidence in it, everyone.
 
I'm curious to see what she would do with a night owl helmet. I've always thought those looked so cool! But with a tribal look, now that would be an intimidating helmet!
