MY CUSTOM BOBA FETT STAR WARS COINS

UPDATE - July 29, 2009

I finally completed all the sets I wanted for now.

For those not familiar with this thread, I make these coins which are similar to the colorized US quarters you see floating around. You can see the details of the coin when held at different angles. I have been told several times the detail in my coins are excellent and rival those of the big companies.

For the Star Wars sets, I used two California Sate Quarters (home of Lucas and ILM), a Kennedy half dollar, and an Eisenhower dollar.

For the Beatles coins I use New York state quarters (for you younger members, the Beatles first ever US appearance was on the Ed Sullivan show in New York City),

For the Michael Jackon sets I use California (home of Neverland Ranch) state quarters, a Kennedy half dollar, and an Eisenhower dollar.

The quarters and half dollars are all in uncircualted condition, the Ike dollar may be circulated or uncirculated. Each coin comes in an individual clear, plastic holder and all the coins are displayed in a steel, velvet lined case with a custom image printed on high resolution paper.

I will also offer individual coins (limited to those you see below, i.e., I don't want to mix it up by putting a quarter image on a dollar, a dollar image on a half dollar, etc, these are labor intensive and time consuming so I would prefer to go with what I already have). Each coin will come with a clear, plastic protective holder.

Pricing is as follows:

The Boba Fett, Vader, Clone, Jedi, Luke, and Michael Jackson sets are all $30.00 plus $6.50 USPS Priority Shipping to the US (international shipping is $12.95).

The Beatles sets are $25.00 plus $6.50 USPS Priority Shipping to the US (international shipping is $12.95).

Individal dollar coins are $12.00 plus $2.00 shipping to US (international shipping is $3.00).

Individual half dollar coins are $9.00 plus $2.00 shipping to US (international shipping is $3.00).

Individual quarters are $5.00 plus $2.00 shipping to US ((international shipping is $3.00).

If you want the coin double sided, add $3.00. (Not pictured is the rebel logo that can also be used).

I will combine shipping if you want more than one, just give me a heads up so I can get you an accurate shipping quote.

These prices are just a little less than what I sell them for elsewhere. I know they are expensive, but again, they are very labor intensive. That's also why I am offering up 3 coins for free, see end of this post.

I have a couple leftover coins that were designs I was going to use originally but decided not to. So I am giving them away for free. Here is how it will work: post here, I will update the list, and next Saturday I will hold a drawing with all the names. I will pay for shipping. I will give one coin to three different people.

The coins are:

1) An Eisenhower dollar with Boba Fett on one side and his skull on the other.

2) An Eisenhower dollar with Boba Fett on one side.

3) A California quarter with a clone on one side.

Those are really cool. I too would be really interested in a set of the Boba Fett coins.

Very cool. How durable is the finish? I would love a quarter sized imperial cog or vader head to use as a ball mark on the golf course.

Thanks guys, I am still working out some final details and will post more info as soon as I can.

almosttk, the finish is fairly durable, plus they are sealed in a hard plastic case which should pretty much protect it from any problems. Funny you mention it for a marker, my buddy uses the one I made him for that exact same thing on the course. One of my next sets will include the imperial cog and a vader, maybe I will offer up some singles.

jedi.paramedic, I should be putting up some of the Beatles ones again on eBay, but I will try and see about making sets for members who want them, I could probably shave a few bucks off the price.

Received my Eisenhower/Fett dollar today. :) Very cool!
Don't know the process used to create these coins, but both the colors and image quality are terrific!
I love the way the helmet image was sized to just about perfectly fit over the profile of Eisenhower's head. When you tilt it and it catches the light, it's like Boba's helmet is "see thru" with the outline of the head perfectly visible.
This will be displayed alongside my TDH coins. Thanks for an inventive and unique collectible!

Got my coin today. I got a Kennedy half dollar with a Rebel Logo (eagle side) and Imperial Cog (Kennedy). I plan on using it as a ball mark for golf, I will let you know how it holds up.

I will try to post a pic soon. The Rebel logo is a thing of beauty and plays perfectly with the eagle. I think the Imperial cog could be improved by increasing the width of the outside ring, but it looks great as well.

Thanks Brian, I noted your comment on the cog, that is easy enough to adjust for, I'll have to keep that in mind.

And I did forget to take photos of that coin before sending, so that would be great if you could post a pic.

And lastly, some have asked about taking the coin out of the holder, which you can do, but it will last allot longer if you keep it in the case. The process of applying the images is pretty delicate, you should have no problems at all with it in the case.
