I just barely joined this forum and, Im not to sure how to navigate through it right now, but I just wanted to show off a helmet that me and a friend of mine made.

Nice. Did you use the wedge-construction technique for the dome, or did you find yourself a batting or skater helmet? Either way the shape came out nice. Do you have any close-up pics of the earpieces and the rangefinder and stuff?

Awesome job.
I used the wedge technique, but to make it more durable and smooth, I put a layer of bondo on it and sanded it. I'll take some pics of the ear peices and post them soon.

I can see 'em just fine, and they look great. Nicely constructed. Is the rangefinder arm also cardboard?
Great job! My only critique is that your LEDs on the RF topper are in the wrong place...
they should be over more:
I only mention it because it's a minor enough thing that if you wanted to change it, it should be fairly easy.
