My 13 Vintage Star Wars Figures with Repro 12 Back Cards

Posted this on The RPF, but wanted to share here, especially love my Boba Fett...........I know there's been a lot of debate about recards, both positive and negative, but I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. I'm so glad I did; seeing these like this has once again brought out my inner child. The cards are reproduction, but all my figures are originals. My wife said it was funny watching me work on these, with me grinning ear to ear and my legs swinging under the bar stool. The cards are very well done, look vintage but don't have that pixelated home printer feel. This was my first attempt at doing these, but I think they came out great. I bought these kits online and put these together with some of my vintage figures. I only plan on doing these original first 12, plus Boba.

These figures are older than my wife, and my kids are only a few years older now than I was when they first came out. I was 4 years old when these figures hit the stores, and seeing them again in these packages brings out fond memories of Christmas and Birthdays from a distant past.

Despite your feelings on recards, these are labeled on the back as reproductions and are not intended for resale. These are for my Star Wars theater room, where I can smile and reminisce every time I see them.

Aren't they great? I'm glad someone made these so the collectors who want them, can have them to make their own personal collection. Why spend hundreds or thousands on originals when you can just go this route! I decided to get the original 21 instead of the original 12. Of course,I had to get a light-up display case to show them off in and boy,oh boy...all 21 fit in it,like a glove!my stuff2 003.jpgmy stuff2 014.jpg
