MOW Pre-pro V1 or V2 Gauntlets Interest "Input Please" ?

Sven, Great find...That's clearly the same gauntlet worn in the white pre-production costume. Same flame thrower too. Thanks for sharing.

Here's some for ya. Even though I love pp2 more then any other, my favorite left gaunt has to be the Supertrooper/pp1/pp3. I have been meaning to build the flamethrower housing for it but have not gotten to it yet. And Sven is right the left base gaunt is different for the pp2, then the other 3. The pp2 rises higher then any other.

PP1

I took a bunch of screen caps from the supertrooper video of the left gaunt that I will have to go find. If they show any more detail then the other pics of the pp1/3 I will post them.

Nick, These are awesome..That rear shot showing the back of the gauntlet sheds a lot of light on where the hoses made a connection..Perhaps a Y-shaped stem fed 2 hoses into a single input..."Food for thought"! Thanks very much.

Ooh, I think I would be interested in a set! I had that poster on my door as a kid! (Still have it somewhere.) Also loved the 12" Fett with this gaunt version.

Press on! :love

DL,

Wow..I've never seen that 2nd print before. I've never come across that site either..Thanks for sharing :rolleyes

The real question I have is what version helmet should I do :confused

i'm curious to see if an increase in quality pre-pro parts will influence more people to start that version of the costume.

so far we only have a few sling gun kits out there and pairs of 'therealglobes' prepro gloves.

add in the fact that the sgt. fang? is a close reproduction of the prepro helmet.

gauntlets would be a great addition....and even just a display piece.

i think this is a very marketable idea

CBB,

Well said..I agree.

If anyone still owns TDH reference cd..There's several prepro photos of the costume being worn..Unfortunately my disc keeps getting jammed in my computer and I'm unable to view them anymore...Can someone download them and send them to me by email please....

ManofWarStudios@verizon.net

Would help ah lot :rolleyes

 I'm gonna build a full costume for myself...10 years of prop making and I don't even own my own freak'n Fett costume..Can you believe it :confused

Hahahaha  Well, if I were you I would do the PP2 Hero Helmet, the one that Art posted some time ago, the one which was stolen, this one :D

Man that's a good way to excite everyone in thinking your going to make a bucket

I agree with you Combatbaby this will probably increase the amount of Pre-Pro's walking around. There are definitely enough reference shots off of the PP2 to make a accurate suit like some have already done, however PP1 would be a little more difficult along with PP3 but definitely possible. I'm game for some supertrooper/pp1/pp3 gauntlets. :cheers
