It's finally here. My first step on the road to Korea. I posted a few months back that the Air Force was sending me to Korea for a year, and tomorrow is the day the movers come and pack up all our stuff.
I've been prepping for the past couple of weeks, packing up some of our things extra carefully, and tomorrow I get to watch as some guys box up the rest of our apartment.
Moving is just about the most fun thing on the planet! My brain is going 18 different directions at once right now. I moved into a hotel earlier today, my wife (and our dog) flew out of Tucson a few days ago, I already have a smaller shipment of stuff on the way to Korea, and the next 2 days will finish the pack and move.
Can someone shoot me with a tranquilizer gun?
My last day of work will be this coming Friday, and then I'll have about 6 days to finish cleaning the apartment and do all my outprocessing appointments. Then on May 1st I hit the road for a lovely 3-day drive to Virginia. *Whew!* I think my head's gonna 'splode.
But at least the hotel has free high-speed internet! So I'll be able to check all my prop stuff.
