Most sought after costume stuff?

I was wondering what everyone considered to be the most sought after part of a Boba or Jango costume?

Helmet?
Gauntlets?
Blaster?
Ammo belt?
Jet pack?
Something else?

You know, what do we look for the most? What has the highest demand?

My guess is that a good helmet is priority #1, but I could be wrong. So I'm asking for input about what else are people after? Jumpsuits, belts, vests, knee armor, gauntlets? Whatever.

Thanks for the input. :cheers

I would think Helmet and armour, they jump out as Fett, gauntlets and jet pack much less so, almost to the point that you have to have them, but if you could get away without.....

I would say that a good looking helmet is what makes the entire costume come together. Without it, it just isn't Fett. Once you've got a raw helmet though, cleaning it up and giving it a decent paintjob is a different story.

Ell oh ell, my jet pack is a piece of junk. I definitely need a better one of those.

I'd probably have to say Helmet is the most sought after part though.

I'd say a Jet Pack painted by slave1pilot.

I'd go with a really good helmet too.
Quality gauntlets are hard to come by , but most peeps are more concerned with the helmet.

A Helmet big enough for fat heads like me . Hard to find one for 7 1/2 hat size.

I'm thinking there's a need for larger helmets since I had to get a Bobamaker bucket (third hand) to fit my noggin. :) Wizard of Flight's helmet templates at 100% were still a little too close to my nose and a little too small for comfort.

My scratch-built helmets are getting better, but my scratch-built armor is way better. :D

What would everyone like to see in the Cargo Hold?
Bigger helmets and upsized armor or jet packs and gauntlets? :)

I'm thinking about making sintra armor for bigger people and possibly helmets also. Input anyone? :confused

I would think jet packs. There are more options for helmets and somewhat for gauntlets. But now that MOW stopped making the JP its a lot harder to come by for a decent one. Even not decent ones are hard to come by.

A good pair of Fett socks....

They were only made for six months by a poor wool farmer from the now Republic of Uzbekistan and were actually originally a scarf before a Lucasfilm intern found it and was made to weave them into two calf high crew socks. Of course, she also sourced the elastic on the top from a difficult to find disco belt, so you need both parts. The original scarves pop up on eBay from time to time with a starting bid of $2500. For the disco belt do a search for "Studio 54 and waist".

You can, however, find socks that are close to the original at Sam's Club in packs of 10 for $5, and only a trained eye can truly discern the difference.

Back me up on this, Art. He's seen them in the LFL Archives.... :)

As far as jet packs go, what do y'all think about a slush cast resin one reinforced with fiberglass matting on the inside? or would one made from thin sintra with fiberglass reinforcement be better for trooping?

Regarding helmets, if there is an interest in upsized buckets, ie: 10% - 20 % larger than most helmets, I would make one from Sintra and reinforce it with fiberglass matting on the inside. The smooth mat stuff, not the prickly, hairy kind.

I'm trying to keep material costs to a minimum.

Any ideas? Input? Experiences to share so we can all have a laugh? :)
