Mirax and Braks Buddy Photoshoot - Boston

Hey folks, just a head's up. I wanted to break the official news that after much planning and anticipation, a Mirax and Braks Buddy photoshoot is happening up in my neck of the woods this weekend in the Boston, MA area! I can't tell you how excited I am to have Kristen and Art come to our home turf and hang out. Special thanks go out to Brian, TK-7602 for picking them up at the airport tonight, putting them up at his place and to providing the space for the shoots. This is going to be simply awesome!

I was going to try and make the drive out to Boston too. A little more notice and I could have made it. I've got a 4 day weekend because of election day and it would have worked out good.

I would have loved to visit Boston around this time woith what y'all got goin' on. But darn it ... it's almost 3,000 miles away, and I'm in the height of my training for the rating I'm going for.

My goodness! I have got to hear some details on that Vader right there! I was wonderin' if it was JD 'cuz he's got the ROTS Vader in the NEG if I'm not mistakin'. I'd like to hear how the cape got the way it was pictured ... VERY cool!:thumbup

Just wanted to point out that we will be glad to come to any location that can get up enough interested people to support our expenses for the shoot. It usually takes 10-12 people to do that. This is a scene from ANH Special Edition when Fett walks into the screen in front of the Falcon. We intentionally switched my shoulder bells around to reflect the messed up scene in the movie. (Yeah, I'm a dork)

Excellent pics BB and what a awesome Fett webchief. Actually everyones suits look top notch. The wonderful photography and the great outfits truly compliment one another.

Just got home and need to get in bed but wanted to log in and say a very quick thank you to everyone! Bob- thank you for helping put this together. It went so smoothly and much of that was due to you. Brian, thank you and Jody so much for being such gracious hosts. Thank you for getting us where we needed to go and for providing us a place to stay, to shoot, and feeding us while we were shooting as well! We greatly appreciated all of it. Thank you to the NEG for having us up there. Our first trip to Boston was definitely way too short but we had a terrific time meeting everyone. You have a great group of people there. Thank you to everyone for being on time, actually, being early, being prepared, and helping things to go so smoothly. We would LOVE to come back and do some more with you guys, and maybe even get to stay a wee bit longer! John B.- glad you finally got your pic

Thanks to Mirax and Braks for the photo shoot! It was a blast! I don't think I have ever been put through the ringer as much as I was during my shoot! My toes are killing me, but it was worth the laughs!

Thanks for the "Fan Boy" pic of you and I! LOL! My life is now complete!


As for my pics, I think they came out pretty good considering that I couldn't hide my goofy looking face under a helmet like everyone else! LOL! Here's a few. Sorry, I don't have any photoshop skills to change the backgrounds.

It's actually a Nimbus 2001. Harry's broom was the Nimbus 2000. Here's a image that my friend JD altered. Looks pretty cool.

BTW, for all you Bostonians... It was a beautiful 70 degrees here in Arizona. Drove around in my short sleeve shirt, no jacket, windows wide open in the car and was STILL warm!!!
