Remember all of those that have given their lives so that you might remain free.

For a unique perspective, please read this essay. It was written by my best friends brother, Dr. John Pryor, one of the top trauma surgeons in the U.S. We lost John on Christmas day last year from a mortar round hitting his quarters in Mosul. He was, and is, a hero.

While I have never been a solider and never had to lay my life on the line for my belief in freedom and our way of life, I have the greatest respect and appreciation for those who have and continue to do so. Thanks for making our every day possible.
