'member the Star Wars holiday special actually aired on TV... getting all excited to see it... sitting down with your bowl of actual pan or kettle of jiffy-popped (non-microwave, non-air popped) popcorn...
only to sit there and go OMFG for the first time in your life at sone insanely young age realizing that you just witnessed some of the most horrific plotline thrown on the screen in history. Jefferson Starship? Itchy? Lumpy? Bea Arthur? ART CARNEY! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Just when you thought your childhood was destroyed forever... your faith in all that was Star Wars was torn from you...
The cartoon came on...
And you got your first glimpse of the so beloved bounty hunter... and the Star Wars universe lived again!
Well... at least until the first time you saw Jar Jar on screen.

I can't believe no one has posted this yet:
'member when Han Solo shot first?
I'm a noob, so I can't add to the board nostalgia, but I do:
'member when I could look at a Boba model or bucket at a store and not identify at least 10 inaccuracies in 10 seconds.
'member when my friends respected my star wars fanaticism without thinking I crossed the line over to freak.
A couple more:

Perhaps everyone here knows what pretend game the Sniffer would like to partake in.
Yes my friends it involves his favorite Vixen of all! Carrie Fisher. The Sniffers Fantasy would start out by giving her the most beautiful flowers with an amazing fragerance!
Sniff on my dear Leia! Sniff on!
I was actually just gonna post that:
'Member when Carrie Fisher looked good in a bikini?
I'd still, um, date her.
The sad thing is...a lot of us prob would. Amazing the impact one woman had on so many adolescent male minds...
