Hey all, I have been dealing with Curtis, a member here. He has agreed to make an attempt to reconcile a "deal gone bad" with me. I haven't heard from him in almost a month now and was wondering if anyone has heard or knows anything about him? I bougtht an EE-3 from him that wasn't up to par at all for 200 dollars and he has agreed to pay back at least 125 of this (proof in PM's that can be provided...) after selling off a MOW JP for 500 dollars...So he should of had plenty of money to try and make things right.

I'd be fine with the 125 at this point since only the barrel of his blaster was about the only thing salvagable...

Any help/info would be appreciated...At any rate, this is a warning as well for doing business with this member.

Thanks!

Yeah, I've delt with Curtis a few times. He is in CA. He buys up all the parts to complete a full ESB/ROTJ Fett and turns around and sells it a month later ( I think he's done this a few times) not the most reliable member here.

Sorry you fell victim to his shenanigans.

well bountyone i thought we were cool ? and i made a full rotj suit and used it on halloween then had to sell it and i was making a esb fett and i couldnt finsih it and i sold everything as is to everyone and everyone i sold to got everything i dont see why im a bad sell and yes i owe him 125 :/ witch is a bummer since i sold it for the same price i got it for but i did agree to give him money back but i got in a really bad car accident right after i sent him a pm of getting 125 refund i rooled my 2000 rodeo down a hill and i just got out of the hospital a week ago and i am going to pay him back im not doing any bad shenanigans or anything i mean i lost my job got kicked out of school and now a 80,000 med bill times are really hard for me right now and sorry for no . , or any of that stuff just one loong run on

What Curtis meant to type was:

"Well, Bountyone, I thought we were cool. I made a full ROTJ suit and used it on Halloween and then had to sell it. Then I was making an ESB Fett and I couldnt finish it and I sold everything 'as is' to everyone. Everyone I sold to got everything. I don't see why I'm a bad seller. Yes, I owe him $125, which is a bummer since I sold it for the same price for which I got it. I did agree to give him money back but I got in a really bad car accident right after I sent him a PM of getting $125 refund. I rolled my 2000 Rodeo down a hill and I just got out of the hospital a week ago. I am going to pay him back. I'm not doing any bad shenanigans or anything. I mean I lost my job, got kicked out of school and now have to pay an $80,000 med bill. Times are really hard for me right now. Sorry for no punctuation or any of that stuff, just one long run-on."

Sounds like a real bad string of luck. I hope the best for you man and hopefully things will turn around.

I got my refund and we're square. Thanks!
