? Medieval Green Lantern Costume ?

Howdy all, I'm working on a new project that involves medieval armor, a medieval version of green lantern, imagined as a 'knight of the emerald lantern'. I've never worked with fiberglass and now i'm living in an apartment so it's hard to use anything with noxious fumes, but I like sturdy costumes, I hate fun foam. I could also vaccuuform, I've done it before, but I was wondering if yall thought that would be a good idea. Here's pictures i'm using as a reference;

I'm mostly looking at the shoulder and arm guards. Thanks in advance!
