    Don't worry, it's still early.

There's a whole bunch of meemrbs that only pop up at night because of either work schedules or time difference.

You only put it up about 2 hours ago, anyway. It will take a little longer than that to get a response.

    I think there's some site that basically has a Mando'a/English dictionary, but I don't know it off-hand.

    I wish you luck,
    ZK

    Re: Mando'a

Karen Traviss has the full mando'a dictionary up at her site.

    http://www.karentraviss.com/

There's not enough there to make it a functional language, but it's a good solid start.

It's all in good fun and comradeship.
Aside for what I learn from the novels, I doubt I'll ever spend time learning the language. However, I think it's cool for those with a desire to try and learn.

i'm kinda like a language freak :P.... i've tried Japanese two types of Elvish and now i'm gonna try out Mando'a since it's such a easy language to learn compared to most other languages. the word order is the same as in English and the letters sound like the ones in faroese wich is my local language :P

    Su'Cuy Ner vod!

I think its pretty cool that Mandalorians have their own language. It definitely adds a cool element to the books Karen Traviss writes.

Like Cruzer I don't know that I'll sit down and learn the language through a Mandalorian Dictionary, but hell even Boba Fett is just now learning

    Re: Mando'a

His first three to four posts seem to be written in pretty coherent English, so I assumed he was just a kid typing too fast and not checking what he typed.

I think Traviss should seriously consider my above-illustrated book suggestion!

I think you are right! Maybe we could be business partners - you have all the awesome ideas - and then I just help you collect the money...

Compared to some of the old guys on here (like Cruzer )- you are a kid.... trust me I'm 24, married, have a house of my own and I still consider myself a kid (many others do too). It's not a bad thing - enjoy it while you can!

Yeah, because I'm sooooo old at 34, sometimes I forget I'm still young at heart.

I think the book idea is a definite money maker!
