Before anyone bashes me about the amount of money and time it takes to put in a costume of Boba Fett i would like to just take the time to say please dont bother. i am willing to spend the money if the price is right for me. i wanna purchase one because i would like to do charity work go to conventions and birthday parties and just to put smiles on peoples faces to have such a iconic star wars character around. Basically what the 501st legion does. i wouldnt mind doing that line of work. i just enjoy putting smiles on faces of people. but on a serious note i want one made for i just cant make one myself without the tools and also the time. i work 2 jobs and ive been wanting my hands on a boba fett costume for years since i was 16. it doesnt have to be exact on point costume but i would like it to wear i can wear and show off to the people in my community. so please with any help will be appreciated. im open for anything just let me know. i hope to hear from you guys soon and the TDH team.

You can get one for less than that if you watch the cargo hold like a hawk. I don't have his armor but wickedbeard sells a painted set for less than FP and BM. People are always selling parts on the CH so keep a close eye on it.

well i am new to this site so i was think it would cost me that much for a costume like that. not to mention im trying to put the least amount of time in the costume cause my jobs have to come first. no job=no money= no costume lol. but im a pretty fait guy i just want numbers thrown at me so i can see what i can work with here and whats offered to me. but i appreciate you guys helping me out.

well i looked at wickedbeards armor and it looks fantastic but will it come with a jumpsuit with the attachments required??? it seems like the quality and work put into everything ive seen is worth the money. i just basically need a good round up price for everything.

Welcome!

Like Lucksy and JC mention, its rare that a full-up suit goes for sale (maybe once a month?) so you need to watch the Cargo Hold pretty regularly, as they can go fast - particularly as we get closer to Halloween (you'll see more folks looking for full costumes then as well). After Halloween, there's usually a small spike in folks selling their costumes (or parts).

One thing to note that if you come across a full costume, they are usually custom fitted for that particular person. You may luck out and get one with soft parts (jumpsuit, vest, gloves, etc.) that fits your particular build, but usually you'll need to modify them or swap these out for a newly made one.

I think most of us started as yourself, came here wanting to purchase a costume full-up. Once you get into the details (and passion) of putting together your own Fett, the initial interest evolves into a full-time hobby.

Good luck and keep your eyes glued to the Cargo Hold!

thanks man but do you have any idea to get into contact with wickedbeard??? im on his website and cant find a way to get ahold of him.

yea hit him up on Facebook if you use that.

Also, his armor is just the armor. So you will have to figure out an attaching method and get soft parts (jumpsuit/vest etc) separately. He also make the gauntlets.

Like the guys said, usually rare a full suit goes up, but it does happen. Keep your eyes on that cargo hold!

I think your best bet, assuming you cant grab a full suit, and since your main issue is time, is to get the parts from the makers and have them or other members build/paint the parts for you. It can add some cost to the suit, but you just need to figure out what you want more..to save a couple of bucks here and there doing some stuff yourself, or having a member here do it for you so you can manage your time. Either way the choice is yours. Your timeframe is a little tight for halloween , if you wantd it done by then, but if you keep your eye on the cargo hold you may be able to get second hand finished pieces for a good price and pull it off. Good luck, and have fun!

The cargo hold will be your best friend, I should know almost all the parts I have came from there, even darth vorhees' old gauntlets, which are pretty sweet. I will be putting on the CC missle that DV made next weekend on them.

Where are you from in NJ? Since you intend on joining the 501st have you signed up on the 501stner forums? There is some specific info I posted there for ESB Boba Fett. I just sold my complete ESB Fett this summer but we have a member who is in the middle of putting together a great ESB Fett of his own. Go ahead and introduce yourself there too! Hope to see you there!
