Kotobukiya Jango figure, Why is it sticky?
I have a Koto jango that a friend gave me.
it was already opened when i got it a couple years back

Problem is, the flames are sticky to the touch
Anyone know why?
Or better yet, how to make them "unsticky"?
It'a only the flames, the rest is fine
Re: Kotobukiya Jango figure, Why is it sticky?
If it is sticky in your display case, try brushing talcum powder on the bottom, that will take out the "stickyness" and wont tarnish your display cases bottom, or shelf, or whatever you are setting this on. If you brush it on the flames, the sheen might be taken out. I guess as long as you are not touching the flames you are good to go and dont need to take out the stickyness. Maybe the resin they used didnt fully cure on that part?

take rubbing alcohol to them with a q-tip see if that helps.

Rubbing alchohol might deteriorate the finish
Re: Kotobukiya Jango figure, Why is it sticky?
true it might but i believe the "elephant in the room" is, if this is a display, why are you or other people touching it. if no one touches it who's gunna be the wiser?
