Definitely go for the costume, you'll love it. It takes time for sure, but in the end, when you finally have a troopable costume it's amazing. All the pictures at cons and such is so much fun. I was at C2E2 in Chicago this weekend and had chicks wanting pics, people telling me how cool it looked, people singing Fett's Vette to me. It's just awesome. I even got interviewed about zombies for some website, and I played it off as the Fett man. haha. It's all a good time and totally worth way more than a merch collection...although I do collect a lot of stuff too. Way too much in fact haha.
