Well, it's been a while since I've visited. Part of the reason why I've been gone is because of the discontent I have for some sellers not fulfilling their promises. I know it's not just me. I've read similar threads in the past from others. I hate to sound so negative, but I had to get it off my chest. I purchased gauntlets from a seller on here that took forever to get, and when they did arrive they were shoddy at best and broken. This particular seller blamed it on customs and said he would send another set. That was over a year ago, and no gauntlets. He also said he would send a jetpack kit to make up for the inconvenience. All unfulfilled promises. Countless emails went unanswered. Now, I had a similar problem with an ammo belt too.
Now, is it just me? Has anything changed since last year? I would certainly hope so. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and I would like to wash it out. What recourse do we have as a community of enthusiasts? Oh, I know all about filing a dispute through Paypal and such, but it's not an easy undertaking. I don't want to get into the act of calling out people on a public forum, but then again I don't want it to happen to anyone else. Whatta ya think?
