IRONMAN COSTUME. 95% done. TMP

i heard it was 10k to make it.

idea abtou the eyes, perhaps (for pictures only) there coudl be somethign that slides down some glowey eyes and than you can pop them back up. kinda like the astronaughts do with their gold visors, and aviator helmets.
 
I'm floored! Just..WOW! I know it's easy to just see the flaws in something you've made, but you should really be proud of what you and your wife made. I've got to go see that movie!
 
Gotta say that of all the Marvel comics I bought as a kid Iron Man wasn't one of them but looking at that awesome suit I feel that now I've really gotta see the movie ASAP. Outstanding work dude I'm completely blown away!
 
you make my helmet look bad. it is the first helmet i have ever made and basically the first costume thing i have ever made. ur costume is inspiring

I been getting some inquieries and i am just pusseld by the fact how many contacted me got ZERO 0 Post. One even got banned i se... Is something going on?

Has there been many new members just in new time.
I advice the mods to look these out. Because ZERO Post and beeing a member is strange to me. Some sort of activity should be required.

Hey TMP,

They look to be all fanboys of the movie, who have done a search on Google and the thread/pics come up in a Google/Google Images search way too easily now a days, so they are seeing your thread and armour, backtracking it here, then becoming members to find out about it. :p

ive been doing searches for Fett pics and get referred back here all the time lol :p
 
The armor looks awsome... I did a set myself for my 15 yr old son to go to the premier here in Omaha. I'd love to talk to you live time and compare notes. I only had 2 weeks to put mine together so it's made of sintra and abs plastic. I did mold a helmet based off the new toy down at Walmart. I've posted pics on my myspace www.myspace.com/mrclaybo. What did you use to make your costume and how did you make it? i really want to make my own by the next Iron Man movie (by the way the release date is set to be April 30, 2010)
