When I took my lid to the leather shop to fit it with the scraps, they said I needed a shirt to ID myself as a Sci Fi junkie. Can't have us walking around lookin like normal people. LOL

Already started. Will be shippin em out here and there over the next two weeks. Mary is working really odd hours and I have to take care of the 3 lil ones, so am gettin it done as quick as I can, bruv. Once these are all shipped out, I'll put up the next two images.

hey guys, just wanted to let you know what is going on with sonik...he has been the main keeper of his 3 little ones lately, while the fiance has been working full time during the day...i am sure he is getting these shirts out as fast as he can, he has shipped some in the past day or so, and i have no doubt that he will take care of everyone's order as quickly as possible...i am still waiting on my shirts as well, but i know he will get them to me as soon as he can...=)

Mr Mom and he isnt Zazzle you know he's doing this without making any $ on top...He's just trying to get all of us some sweet shirts and spread TDH love be patient it'll be worth the wait, just look at the last time Art made shirts at least your getting TDH shirts at all

First off, I got a call (while I was dropping shirts at the PO) about the thread because I havent been getting half of my updates since TDH switched servers. So I had no idea about any of this. Second, I'm sorry that its taking awhile to get them all out (I just dropped off more to the PO yesterday), but I am not Amazon or Ebay, I'm Mr. Mom to three kids all under the age of 6, with a fiance who is working and going to school full time, so I can only get things done as I can... Dont expect you to understand, but its an unavoidable fact of life for me.

These images have been on the back-burner for a run the site was supposed to do (and of only 1 of the images out of all submitted) last summer.... Due to everyone requesting it (in the original thread and via pm's), I stepped up and offered to make it happen for everyone when I could, otherwise, it'd still be on the back burner. I've waited 4 months for a set of toe spikes (that were already made btw), and longer for other things, but I understood that no one can make a living off of TDH (especially in this case where part of the money goes back to the site) and that people still have lives beyond the site, and that I should be happy that (unlike in the past) I can "click and buy" anything Fett related... but thats just me.

I did not get anything out today (Sorry Darrell), but my fiance' got the day off (last minute) and I was up til 4:30am this morning getting my TD armor wearable so I could be at a troop at 12:30 for the Make-A-Wish foundation about an hour away from where I live, and didn't make it back into town until after 8pm. So today is definitely my fault, but I really wanted to do this particular troop. So, I apologize completely.

I will finish getting these out, then I'm done with the shirts all together... NO MORE IMAGES WILL BE RUN

Good grief. I can't believe that someone is so desperate to get their shirt. It hasn't been that long and you have explained what was going on in your life. Pretty poor form in my opinion. I still trust you dsonik. Know that most people do as well.

Man you should definitely NOT be apologizing for taking a day to do something you love, especially something for a charity. Between kids, working, and all the other drains on your time you always have to make time for yourself, did the mr mom job myself for a while and contrary to what those without children may think it is very time intensive, and I only have 2...with three all under six you must be putting in a pretty serious bid for saint-hood.

Sorry to see this experience went sour on you, keep up the good work with the kids man, they're far more important anyway.

I haven't bought a shirt from dsonik1 on this run, though I have followed this thread closely and I can see that he has done a killer job. Rock on dsonik1!

I'd definately put trooping above getting shirts out. Anything we can do for those kids is at the top of my priority list. I've waited almost a year for some parts for other costumes... I'm sure I can wait a few weeks for a shirt. Some people just don't get it.

I had gotten a confirmation from Daz on a pair the same time you sent those, so 2 pair works out REALLY well. I'm actually going to start slowly going for backups of everything - which should take me a few years unless we hit the lottery this week. LOL

Has anyone from overseas already received his shirt?

Some overseas people have gotten theirs. Yours hasnt left yet because the kids and I got a stomach virus on Friday which lasted til yesterday and kicked off a bout of kidney stones from me which I'm still dealing with. I havent even been on the dent that much because looking at the screen and typing makes me nauseous. The medsI have for this include anti-nausea medicine, but I cant take anything because I have to be able to take care of the kids, that includes my pain meds. Hopin to be back up to par tomorrow to get back to shipping more out this week.

Hey I have a question. Why is the shirt different from the proof shown? The front image has no wording on it and to me that rally made it. Also no mention of the Dented Helmet on it just the little icon with cross bones on the top back. Did I get a misprint?

Yeah I actually got it in right before I left for CV. Maybe the missprint of the proof delayed the run and I got one before it was corrected? If so I could go for a corrected one But other than that it's a good looking shirt with Dutch's design!

Sorry guys, I havent gotten ANY alerts to you guys posting on this. As far as pm's, I dont doubt that they've been sent, but I havent gotten them. I got one from LiquidTed yesterday, that he sent over a week ago, and one from dlzx9r, that was sent I dont even know how long ago. I sent some out prior to CV, also some while CV was going, ALL thats left will go out this week.

As for the print... I've gotten my butt handed to me over the lack of that print. Here's the deal, I paid out of my pocket for both images to be vectorized by the printer. He was having trouble getting the print to come out correctly, so I had to make a decision. It would have cost me another $30 to have that issue fixed (because I have to pay him for the time he works on the image), that I just didnt have. Between people not paying (I marked everyone as paid, so dont bother trying to figure out who, its between them and their karma), people having to back out due to financial reasons, and one person back-charging me on paypal, gas, I have lost money on this. Despite Art's protests, I will STILL be donating money out of my pocket to TDH, in lieu of the run.

The TDH emblem... Yes, that is the TDH symbol, above the crossbones... that emblem was one I and Mr. NoStripes designed for the site as a sticker a while ago, and belongs to TDH. It was also a way of insuring that people knew this was not something that Art himself put out, so that there was no confusion.

Between, losing money, my Dad coming into town (whom I havent seen in 10 to 11 years), kids getting sick, and well... life itself. It's taken awhile to get stuff out. I gotta admit, it was also a bit of being depressed over the situation with Dutch's design. It was a bit of a slap in the face to hear I'm getting slammed at CV to Art because of the removal of the letters. Funny thing is, these images sat for over a year in a mostly forgotten thread until I made mention that I would try to make this happen "when I could".... fromthat point on, I got slammed with pm's begging me to hurry up and do something that wasnt my responsiblity and that I didnt start to begin with. Anyone, and I mean, anyone could have found those images via google image search and used them without anyone's permission. What are the image creators going to do, sue them for a licensed image that doesnt belong to them, to begin with. And if someone cared soooo much about their image, why is it that none of them ever got off their butts and did this themselves? They had over a year to do it. The oimage designer's who bothered to contact me back, the response normally started with, "I had forgotten I even did this", including the person who went around CV telling people I had "destroyed" his image.

But, no worries, as I said, ALL shirts will be out this week even to those who either failed to pay, or werent financially able to. Then, I will no longer be doing any shirts for TDH, which means, I cant screw anything up. I'm not asking for anyone's sympathy here, just sharing my outlook.

dsonik, I've recently noticed that many of my forum updates from TDH appear in my spam folder ( I have yahoo email ) and not in my regular inbox. I don't know why this happens as it never has before. If I didn't stumble across this, I would never see some of my TDH updates. This may be happening to you as well, and could be why you haven't sen any posts. I have to scan my spam folder now instead of just sending it to trash like I used to.

Thanks, Timmer. It hiccuped a few times when we switched servers. The last big update seemed to really throw things haywire. But I dont think its a strictly TDH problem as I use hotmail and its suddenly decided to just delete messages that I've saved, randomly and at its whim. Startin to think that I must have read a book or played with my children and it offended the interwebs gods. lol

I know it's not just me, because I've sent pm's to othr members as responses, and they never recieve them, even though the message shows up as recieved in my sent box.
