Maybe you can also ask him how many people stopped in to see his girlfriend at her work as well....

At this point, i'd actually respect him saying, "I screwed up, I took everyones $$ and spent it before I could make it back....."

If enough of us contact his Girlfriend on FaceBook and "Convince" her to talk some sense into him, myabe THAT would work??

You´re right- it´s not the amount of money, i spent, it´s a question of principle - there are so many people left without any information- no wonder the guys are complaining...gonna give him maybe two more days, otherwise a pp-Claim will be launched...

Filing a claim sounds like a good idea. It may not get us anywhere, but at least it's a way to try to solve this through proper channels. If we all do it, maybe Paypal will take notice.
 
I looked up "making a claim" I didn't see any limitation like this. I'll have to look again.

If we can't go through paypal , I suggest we ask for him to be banned and let the other costume boards know as well. I don't see why he should be able to rip us off and still be able to enjoy the hobby from these sites.


It's not so much the dollar amount, it's the bad attitude.
 
fbi internet fraud div. would be the way to go . i was going to file with pp way back but caught flack from u guys so did not . my gut told me to but figured he would come throught . mabe he still will . i order 3 shirts . 1 eastwood has anyone even got that one . have seen no pics of it. iam giving it one more week to hear something. its not but $75 but it was my $75 . probley wont get back but think hes some kind of cop . can't look good for him .

His member page says he's a "Protection Officer". My first guess is he's a rent-a-cop. or some kind of security guard, mall-cop, etc. He may be an actual law enforcement person but not wanting to be so specific, which is understandable. I went through this with GreenGriffon over a year ago, he scammed a bunch of people for a while but I received my cape eventually.


Just ban him and get it over with and that way no one else will have to deal with him. Look at how much we post over complaining about this guy, he's not even worth it, he's nerf poodoo.

I hate to say it but they wouldn't even take your call and if they did your info would be thrown in the trash as soon as you got off the phone. I'm a Federal Agent and work with FBI at times and their Internet Fraud Divsion is focused on much, much bigger cases in every branch office I've dealt with. You're better off contacting the local office in the city he lives of the Department of Consumer Affiars.

We don't really have many options here. I'm going to go the FaceBook route. Since he's gone off the radar, let's contact his "significant other" on Face book. She WILL accept your friend request. Here name is: Mary Elizabeth Melia and she has posted regular photos of her and Sonik having a grand ol' time. Sonik is even intiving people out to meet him at random places too. Maybe she's not aware of the type of person that he really is. I BEG ALL O FYOU THAT HAVE BEEN SCREWED, post on HER Facebook......
 
I just dont know why the guy can not get on here and at least say something heck anything at all. I guess our comments on the design mess scared him away.... :/ Shame people can't take constructive criticism anymore. The times have sure changed and people seem to be getting WAY to sensitive.
 
Well, I followed through with my last attempt. I have unequivically caught him in (2) lies.
1) He claimed that he had NO internet service.
- he posted an invite to a bar a week ago on FB
2) he fell on hard times b/c his girlfriend lost her job
-She posted an invite 2 days ago, for her friends to visit her at work, on FB.
Total Lies and BS.

I called this guy out on Facebook, to his significant other, without profanity or threats. I posted on HER wall that SONIK is a liar and a thief. I also went into some detail about how he's ripped off over a dozen people, for over $1,000. That pretty much garauntees that i won't be getting a t-shirt or a refund. If nothing else, he's gonna have to have a pretty embarassing conversation his lady. And hopefully, a few people will see him for what he is. I'm not sure what constitues a ban, but it's pretty clear to me. It's all up to the mods, unfortunately they have to get involved for that sort of thing. My aplogies to them for this headache....

Im not gonna comment on this, but I did talk to him and got an message to pass on...In response to what can I tell the guys in the TDH shirt thread,
"Just that Im trying to get it all out and that life has taken a royal shin on us and Im sorry as hell."

Lucksy I dont think you realize that was kinda out of line what and how you went about contacting mary on FB and her "job" is not her old job its a quick job after being laid off her old one.
 
I don't believe it's out of line to try to contact this guy any way possible when he has chosen to avoid us. We were pooped on, plain and simple. Maybe not intentionally, but it still happened.

The money was sent, shirts were made, after that, it takes very little time and effort to package T-shirts and mail them especially considering they were PAID FOR !!!

Where did that money go ?? Life deals us all a hard time, I'm going through one myself, but I'm not letting it affect my work or hobbies.

The kids must sleep at some point, work on it then. "I'm trying to get it all out", Trying how? I would just like to know where the hang up is. The shirts don't fit in the package ? What could it possibly be ? Sonik, please just send these things, it can't be that difficult, it's like mailing a letter for cryin' out loud.


Just send the stuff and put this topic out of it's misery already.
