This has the makings of one kickbutt day. The ideas for lessons look great and with it being a small school all the better to organise. Having said that you've been given a great deal of responsibility. But as a high school teacher myself, I'm kinda wondering where design and technology (my subject) fits into the timetable. You could get the students to design and build their own lightsabre hilts.

One of the most obvious comparrisons to make is the scene in the old western Stagecoach with John Wayne when he returns to the homestead after realizing the danger to his family. It is a complete remake when Luke returns home to find his family slaughtered. GL even mentions that he was "inspired" by that scene. We did a compare and contrast on the two in one of my college courses at OU.

ok so im typing up the proposal for my principal,ive got an idea for most of what the classes will be doing,and i plan to get some news coverage in,i pm'd Novall today on the mercs bout well the Mercs lmao im concerned wth that bc its a long drive and i dont want them to be bored if they come so im trying to think up ideas of what to do during break,25 min. so that ppl arent burning up in costumes after a long drive lol,sorry but i want everyone to have fun,so who has any ideas for a special out of class activity that'll last roughly 25 mins?

ok so sometime during the day i believe were supposed to go over to the elementary school and talk to the younglings there bout doing well in school and an overall good morale speech lol so looks like this day is just getting to be more and more fun
