I'm need some info on how would you guys act if you are in your Boba suits during events or shows?I know Boba fett is the most notorious bounty dude around by facts but I think his the nicest during events(trooping).
How to act as Boba Fett??

I've never trooped before as I do not have a completed suit yet. However, the Boba I met at a local charity event was awesome. He was a perfect balance of BA bounty hunter and all around nice guy. He knew just how to pose us for the pictures we took so they ended up looking like professional photos.

ive only ever trooped once & its fun to stand perfectly still & then suddenly move. it scares the hell outa people, that & the slight nod

I guess Boba has a natural bounty hunter reputation in public,appreciate the tips as I will keep Boba at bay & a more friendly approach to kids & adults.Anymore experiences from you guys to share with?..thanks again.

When I'm in Boba and I act in character, I make sure to always look cautious and keep your eyes moving a lot. Also, act above people, you're not on the same level as lowly scum, haha. I also walk quickly and weave through crowds, when Boba has a place to go, he wastes no time.

Strange as it is,we still prefer Boba as what his character potrait...as close as we can anyway but I just love the level we are in when suited up...Mysterious dude...hardly says a word,the sudden turning towards anyone & strike fear..." Stop poking at my jet pack kid..."..haha...

Likewise with both Ronin and GCN, I stay in character once the suit gets put on. Always remember that Boba Fett calculates his every move, so every movement he makes, is slow and deliberate. In character, it will speak volumes, especially the slight nod of the head, the slow planting of the off hand onto the blaster, the measured walk/steps and the quick reaction of bringing up your blaster to bear on any upcoming threats [see photographers].

I'd say it depends on the event... if it's with a lot of young kids, I try to be ''friendly'' as much as Boba could be.
When it's for a sci-fi con or with adults mostly, I try not to talk so much and when I do, I keep it at a minimum. No questions and my sentences are very short. Imperative tone too, that works great.
Keep moving your helmet (left-right). Slight nod from time to time. You really have to think that you don't have any expression on your face that is visible... so you have to make your costume ''speak''.
What I like to do when people ask for a picture : When they ask for a picture, tell them to go down on their knees and put their hands on their head. Now, put your gun to their head. They'll do it without a second thought and appreciate it too... makes a great picture!
Oh and never ever remove the helmet!!!!!

Exactly! Minimal speaking (except with younger kids), very deliberate movements (when needed), overall "cautious and suspicious" attitude.
Also, watch the films (ESB and RotJ; not SE, because it wasn't Jeremy) to learn how Jeremy carried himself and the weapon. That helps tons!

Thats pretty much the code I've gone by over the years as well...with the exception of point the blaster. I dunno if its because I've had too many bad experiences, but I don't point my gun anywhere anymore!!!!!!!!! One time at the science museum, I swung up my blaster for a pic, and there was a kid beside me who just lost it!!!!!!!!!!! I mean laying on the floor kicking and scream & terrified!!!!!!!!!!! Never seen anything like it!!!!! Suffice to say, that ruined the rest fo the troop for me!!! Word to the wise, if you ever find yourself in a situation like that, its best to get the heck out of there!!!! I tried to console the youngster by taking off my bucket etc...but that only made it worse!!!!
Yeah, use your own judgement with teh kids...some love it, some get very scared. You can usually tell.

that's about how i do it.
particularly when "idle", i don't like to lean on things, slouch, relax, whatever. i'll try to stand with my hands in front of me ala jabba's palace, ready to shoot if needed
it depends on the event though. at a convention with mostly other adults, i'll just do whatever is fun

With children, I usually try to observe them before they even get to me. If they're running around, hugging the other troopers and having their photo taken, chances are they're not going to be very frightened by a pose or sudden movement on your part, most like that love it when you do pretend to capture them for a bounty. The ones that are kinda shyish and have to be asked if they want their photo taken, I am a teddy bear with them. I give them a wave and assure them I'm a nice guy. The last thing you want to do is scare these kids, someday they may turn out to be one of us, and our actions that day may be that deciding factor. Adults without children I'm the opposite, in character, asked for a photo, I simply nod. My walk pace I've noticed depends on how long I've been in the armor, at first it's VERY slow. As I get more and more wore out it begins to take a normal pace, but I NEVER hurry. Conventions however, it's all me. I do what I want and just have fun.

I do that Eastwood slouch if I don't have my blaster for any reason.
