Hot Toys 1/6 scale ROTJ Fett announced!

Bumping from over a year ago, but I received the figure yesterday. :) It looks great!
This is my first 1/6 scale Fett figure and what a way to start in that scale.

The detailing is excellent. . . perfectly scaled down from his 1/4 scale "big brother."

This is actually the deluxe version with the Sarlacc base, but it's really big and it would take up a considerable amount
of display space, so I opted to use the smaller, standard base. Still looks very cool though.

I guess 1/6 scale figures have come a loooong way from the old Kenner days. Overall, the sculpt and assembly
is really nice. The helmet still has that "slightly off" look to it, but the small details on the gauntlets and knees for
example are captured very well.

The paint app seems closer to ROTJ on this figure than on the 1/4 scale version. It's still kind of "muddied" but the placement
of the damage is better, and the colors, especially the yellow on the chest/ab plates, is more accurate.

I'll wrap up with a couple of shots of the helmet.

Still has the ESB Polaroid lens on the RF topper. . . :wacko

I'm very satisfied overall. This is my 3rd figure from HT and their quality certainly shows in their products. The only small
gripes that I might mention are that the flightsuit is too clean looking, and the paint app on the shin tools could have been a
bit better. The small orange and black marks on the Patterson tool are missing completely, and the "survival knife" is painted
the same silver as the other three tools. If I do any mods on this figure at all, it will be to add some paint to these two tools.
Very happy to finally have it in my collection! (y)
