High quality 1/12th scale models

There's a new hobby shop up on base, that now sells insanely high quality, posable Star Wars models. They're BanDai brand that he had shipped in from Japan (maybe China, not sure). Anyway, thought I'd share a couple pics.

Nice! I have that one, its top notch, and yes its from Japan. Bandai makes probably the highest quality model kits around imho. The detail is not lacking, the only area I have any complaints about is the dent which is lacking in texture, if you know what I mean. I haven't painted mine yet or anything but essentially slapped together it looks like this (for anyone who is wondering). Painting will happen eventually.

From all the reviews I've read they are really nicely detailed. I think Disney put a ban on importing them though, which sucks if you're stateside. Then you're stuck with the old crap cast of the Falcon, x-wings etc.

The hobby shop i went to has a decent list of these, especially the new Tie Fighter, XWing, Phasma, and others all from BanDai

What mainst69 said is correct, you must be incredibly lucky to have these near you. I only got mine through a friend who was living in Japan, fortunately for me.

I can find out what he all has and ship them if anyone wants them

Redbeard,
I think Ban Dai has a Millennium Falcon out that is supposed to be more accurate than the old MPC or whatever here in the states. I'd be interested in that if he has one, as long as the shipping is not to crazy. Either way, really appreciate you offering that up for your TDH Fettheads. Of course a Slave 1 would be cool too!

I'll be up there tomorrow and check for ya. If he doesn't have it, I'll see what it'll take to get one.

I picked up one of these off of Amazon for cheap.
Was well worth it.
My 9 year old daughter and i put it together in one afternoon...any time I can get with her, doing something Fett related, is a victory!

I've noticed it's to tell what's real and what's not when it comes to items like this, and especially the Play-Arts ones. I have a hard time pulling the trigger to purchase it only to be some cheap knock off. I'm just seen and heard so many horror stories due to it not being the "real" item

I had to go out of town, and just got back today...I'll run up there tomorrow morning and post pics of the ones you guys have expressed interest in...if he has them

What's the prices on those things brother man? I could certainly be down with a Falcon, Slave 1, and a Boba Fett.
But baby always needs new shoes, so gotta budget!

The Falcon is $60, Slave 1 and Fett are both about $35 each...can't read the stickers that well.
