My Name is Matze, currently iam 20 years old... I fell in love with the Mandalorians when i was 7, since then i wanted to be one, and my heart was beating for the Mandalorians.
when i was 15, i started with my first Mando armour, stopped the project cause of "women stress".
so i had a... helmet, the only reference i had for the measurements was a picture from tk409: http://www.tk409.com/images/fett/hel...asurements.gif
I made the Helmet out of glassfiber, and the helmet turned out to be... lets say not so perfect, but i still like it.
the armour plates turned out pretty good back then, but i disliked the paint jop, so i removed the paint later, but never repainted them.
(i never had any patterns or detailed measurements).
end of the story was, i had an unfinished Mando armour, with a Helmet, wich doesnt look original. (i also have some pics, but not online, perhaps i can upload them at sometime).
but not all hope is gone yet. a Month ago, i decided to start a Republic Commando armour, wich is actually a Mandalorian armour in my eyes.
i will open a threat with the whole progress, explained and with pictures.
