I was very fortunate, Gus didn't do any serious damage to me or mine, Ike looks to be really nasty. Keep us in your thoughts and if you have kin or clan that are in the path offer up a place to help keep them stable during the tuff times.

Hey there, We got some bad stuff during Gustav still picking up limbs. I live out side New Orleans so I was closer to the heavy stuff. We just got power back, but 85% of the parish is still out. Not to many Louisiana people here good to see we got some more. Where in La are you?

well it looks like you got 2 things going for you. first, it looks like its going to directly hit Cuba which will severely weaken it. its a CAT4 now but it should nock it down to a 2 maybe even a 1. then it will Strengthen over the gulf but how much is still in the air. The 2nd thing you have going for you, it looks like its going to hit Texas. But all this is subject to change..
