help for electronic wiring.

I'm just getting started on my helmet for my custom mandalorian, and i saw that you can wire your helmet with electronics. like a comm system, and an automatic rangefinder(antena). I was just wondering if anyone has any recomendations on what equipment to get, or any electronic schematics on how to wire it up. any help is greatly appreiciated.

You can use that same tutorial for multiple applications.

As far as comms systems go, those can get fairly elaborate. I use a Radio Shack amp board wired to a pair of alienware laptop speakers and a powered mic all wired up in my bucket. A very few people do something similar, most people just use external voice amps.
