Helmet interior options?

Hey Guys and Gals, Hobbit here! just wondering as I paint up my Bobamaker helmet, what do I do about the interior? The question I have is what is the best option, who do I talk to about fitting out my lid, what is the best option for trooping? Also what about DIY interiors, what parts and where and how? I am in Australia so international options ....ebay and such would be great! Thanks Peeps, thanks for looking and have a wonderful day! :)

I used the interior for an American football helmet held in place with Velcro.....still lots of space for a helmet fan and electronics if I want to add them.

Per Deadland's recommendation I picked up the skydex ballistics helmet upgrade on eBay and it took me 5 minutes to install, fits great, and is very comfortable!

Search for Stormrider's helmet interior. Bar-none if you're going for looks its as good as it gets. He also claims they're comfortable to troop in. They're pricey but they look absolutely stunning.

I've used a simple hard hat liner before on a couple of helmets.
But looking at those Skydex PASGT pads, I may have to try those out! :)

As Jodo recommended...Skydex : )

Yeah I love them inside my FP Premium that I will finish painting one of these days. easy to install you can rip them out and wash them after a troop and the really make the lid fit nice and snug!!

Yea mate - with the interior, you have to go for what you need it for. My helmets are pretty much for display only, and I don't do any trooping, so I go for complete screen accuracy. However, if I were trooping in them, I would be going for sheer comfort level - and the padded interior seem the way to go here :)
