Hello Again!

I posted my original "hello" thread last summer (2011) sometime. At that point Boba was a ways off and I was just doing research. Well the time has come, I think, to start going forward with my attempt. I think I'm going to go with a ROTJ style Fett. Maybe Special Edition, if I can find more info on that suit.

Now I do have a couple of questions and some of them are no doubt noob type, lol.

First, besides the obvious Hasbro blaster repaints labeled as "accurate props", who/what should be avoided on the 'bay?

Second, I actually have in my collection a '96 Don Post Fett helmet. I bought if off the shelf at Target waaaaay back in the day. Is that helmet acceptable (with mods of course) and a good place to start, or would I be better off picking up something else?

I know it may be a bit unrealistic, but the end time I'm shooting for, when I hope to have something wearable and approvable, would be by (hopefully) any CVII.

Man of War Studios is about the only person who I'd recommend from eBay. His jetpack and boots are popular for their accuracy.

yea, id second that. I knew him from here first, so we all know he is good....I have his Jetpack, gauntlets and boots

Any input on the Don Post helmet?

I agree with DVH and Sleepalot, I also have a Mow Jp, suit, boots and gaunts, good to see you got the approval from the Mrs, I would have got shot for the idea of spending all the money for what I have so far.

I will third that... or fourth it... I lost track. Every once in a blue moon, another decent seller will show up, but it never hurts to ask here. When it comes to Fett gear, you will find everything you need in the Cargo Hold here if you are patient.

Yeah with MOW the quality is there and his pricing is more than fair. Good seller fast shipping.
