This Grievous should be approved!

Wow, that's some fine work! Why isn't this 501st eligible? (Not a 501st member, so not familiar with all the rules.)

It's cosidered a "puppet" because you cant actually WEAR the body parts. Same would go for IG-88 and the EPI Threepio.

Geez...i dunno why they wouldnt accept that in the Legion. "puppet" or not, he is wearing the suit, and could do events with it.To me, that would qualify. i dont think you could get more accurate than that for this type of character. my .2 cents

Any swearing (even implied) is a violation of TDH's Code of Conduct. I have edited the title of the thread, please keep that in mind.

As for the 501st's costuming rules, perhaps discussing them on the Legion forums is a better place than TDH as we have no control over those here.

"approved" is mostly a useless term anyway... I don't get why folks are so hung up on that. It's an awesome Grievous, and I bet the owner wears it at events all the time.

I trooped in my Rex suit for almost a full year before submitting it for review.

In the grand scheme of things, I doubt most 501st garrisons would prevent a member from wearing something like that. Make an IC costume for around $100 then wear Grievous 99% of the time. Done.

No problem and I am sorry, but just to let it be known that I wasn't being crude, it wasn't the word people probably thought it was.
In fact it was another spelling of something that holds back water. ^__^

A M A Z I N G as the real Grievous was I think mainly CGI,
this looks great and should be approved as he is wearing it after a fashion and it looks A W S O M E
I bet it looks even better in person :)

That is AWESOME! That should definitely get reviewed... puppet or not, that is pretty epic. I bet there are tons of kids that wish they could meet Grievous and this is as close as they can get without it actually being a puppet... I've seen so many costumes that were incredibly inaccurate get approved... this is pretty close to the real deal or as close as you can get IMO. The head turning is what did it for me. :)
