Finally got a new job!
After our plant shut down in february I've been without a full time job
But as of Tuesday I will be fully employed again
In the long run it's significantly less than what I was making...but what can you do these days?
My old job was easier because i was good at it, but took more knowledge.
This one will probably be more just practical work with no extensive training.
I was working on robots for about 2 years prior to february, now I'll be working with cable harnesses and custom battery applications.
It's about 10 minutes further with traffic, so not the 5 minute drive I used to have...but like i said...I'm taking what I can get.
There's always room to advance again someday when things fix themselves.
Just happy to be collecting a decent paycheck again.
