WOOOOHOOOO!!! We've done it! That was a great game! My man Fleury was on the ball tonight... some amazing saves. That was an intense series. :) Just a little excited that is all haha. Sorry. :)

Boooooooo!

Don't get me wrong. I'm no fan of the Red Wings. But it is nothing compared to my Seething hatred of Sidney "The Crybaby" Crosby and Evgeni "The Biggest Flopper in the NHL" Malkin

Lol, its ok... Not like Crosby was the youngest player in the history of NHL to take a team to win the Stanley Cup... or it doesn't matter that Malkin won MVP in the series. Your just like everyone else who jumps the bandwagon to hate something they don't even know about. Even if Crosby is a "crybaby" which I don't know how you get that... He still is a fantastic hockey player and that is what matters. lol...

The hatred! :) I love it! Not only did we win it in the 7th game, we won it on Detroits ice :) Pittsburgh is a powerhouse for sports this year (minus the pirates haha... but they are improving!)

LOL! Bear in mind that I'm a Flyers fan that is getting sick of having a team full of good players that continue to disappoint me year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year...

(y) That was a fantastic series. Won't ever forget game 5 where you royal rocked us 5-0 HAHA... That scared me a bit. I think we will keep it for another year yet ;) haha.

See if they can stand the test of time now like the red wing have and come back strong.

No where to go once your on top except.......down

Being that I'm a Blues fan, I am very happy that the Penguins won. I don't hate Detroit though, they have constructed one of the most professional and successful organizations in sports history

You've gotta be kidding dude. Just because Crosby and Malkin alone equal the talent of your favorite team doesn't mean you have to be jealous

The redwings won the cup on our ice last year... we won it on their ice this year... We just did "withstand the test of time". You're right, nowhere to go but down... but I'd rather have that than to say "but we can go up" Pens are on t he top baby! They're there for a reason. They will come back strong, just like the past 2 years. :D

Not quite, 1 or 2 years is great but Detroit been a top contender for 10+ years since they won in 97'.

We have the cup, that is all that matters right now... They played well last season, played even better this season, what more can you want? Looks like the Red Wings were the ones that went down. Maybe they can step it up next year and take it back. Big maybe ;) hahaha. Regardless, it was a very good series. Very close, both teams are excellent!

Detroit did not have #13 in the line up. He played the last 3 games on a broken foot. He is the top contender to win the regular season MVP. You think if he was at even 80% or better yet near 100% the pens would have won?? Ya it is just one player, but then ask your self. Where would the Pens have been with out Malkin? Think they still would have won?? I think not.

Ya Pitt won. But they took it to 7 games with a injured detroit team who was missing there number 3 and 4 deffenceman, had 4 players that were in the minor leagues up untill 2 weeks ago. If detroit was healthy or had all the parts the series would have been Detroit in 5.

Absolutely, they deserved it...only time will tell if they (team and management) can hold them together or will they become a one hit wonder. Now n days after you win a championship it becomes tougher and tougher to keep teams together, especially with the salary cap in the NHL. So I guess w'll see how they hold up, if Detroit passes the torch and fades away and we have a rise of a new dynasty in Pitt. Or does Detroit keep on trucking like they have been for the past 10 years and another team next year comes to challenge them (hopefully Philly :) ) like pitt has done in the past 2.......Only time will tell
