ok last night i started a helmet and then restarted it today after Allan (wizardofflight) sent me a few threads to help... i was way off lol.
so today i started using a rubermade brute trash can and super glue and pliobond contact cement both failed to bond the plastic so what do i need?
if anyone can tell me what kind of glue i need that would be great.
also i found that using tin snips to cut trash can armor works great. you get nice clean lines easily if you do it right.

Let me list a few I use.

Epoxy resin, Bondini (a superglue type for plastic) - wonderful stuff, PVC cement glue, ...and some others, but thats a few.

oh boy. I made the mistake of using the rubbermade brute trashcan for my self-made armor. Theres nothing really that I know of that will work with that material, except for screws/bolts. I could never ever shape it the way I needed it, it was just NOT going to let me modify it in any way. The only thing I got to stick to it was the velcro adhesive you can buy in strips, the industiral strength, and thats the only thing I know of that actually sticks to it.

Honestly, I would recomend trying to get one of those sterilite trash cans instead, I know thats a popular choice for members here.
