GenCon Indy

Hey, folks. Been lurking around for quite awhile, posted once or twice in the past. But anyway, I have a question for y'all:

I know it's still 8 months away, but is anyone here planning on attending GenCon Indy this coming year? I'm planning on being there, hopefully wearing some custom armor, and it would be nice to rub shoulder pauldrons with a few Mando vode, perhaps invade one of the local bars or some such fun.

Just curious.

i'm making plans for it. don't know if it'll happen though; but it should. i'm shooting for summer to have my boba wearable.

I'm getting ready to start a custom wearable. Dunno if it'll be wearable by August, but I have the advantage of being enrolled in an aviation mechanic's school, which has all kinds of nifty tools, and is teaching me nifty things like sheet metal and composites (fiberglass), electricity and electronics, and all kinda of other skills that translate nicely to armoring.

I'm hoping that, with the sheet-metal and composite fab shops at school, I'll have a leg up on the major fabrication tasks. Beyond that, I've started a collection of odd-looking bits I can use for greeblies, and one of my closest friends is not only helping collect things, he wants his own suit, so I just might have a bunch of help. 8)
