Wow! Thing is everything the Dented Helmet and 501st have been talking about over the years is true. Don't know if StarFortress is under new managment or not. All I know is the "previous owner" is wanted by the FBI and others for sex crimes. That is NOT hearsay. It is a matter of public record. And his product quality "or lack of it" is well known as well.
I must be dumb or something, because I don't get it. Does he want to sue over the sex crime allegations (I don't personally know if they're legitimate or not), or because of people calling out the poor quality of the parts being sold?
Thats hilarious. On what grounds? You cant sue for a "bad review". Everyone has the right to their opinion. Plus they are making copyrighted material without licensing. That will go nowhere.
I never personally had any dealings or personal issues with them. I just heard bad reviews. Plus just looking at thier stuff, i can see i personally wouldnt be happy with it as im an accuracy nut, and went somewhere else. Everyone has their right to do that.

Like I said true or not, and from his assumption that because I posted a photo on here it gives him free reign to use my photo and my image at will I believe his understanding of the law is poor at best, as well as his assumption that any negative reviews are slander and libelous when a simple google search shows that both of those require the statements to be false in order to apply, and the burden is on him to prove falsehood also shows severe lack of legal understaning. However just to be on the safe side, and because I am loyal to both the 501st and TDH I posted this.
I just left a quip on their Facebook after reading their legal brief. They are so full of it.
There is no need to be on the safeside of anything. I'm calling it BS. They are simply trying to intimidate everyone into silence, so they can continue to sell their garbage.
Don't bother leaving any remarks that doesn't agree with them, they only delete it and block you from their page. Actually now that I think of it, screw them, they can go ahead and put that photo back up, I'm gonna make my own called "How NOT to make props"
Actually, he states that "Anton" still helps them out from time to time. Anton is one of the originals from back in 2000 when it WAS run by Tom. In fact, Anton was under a microscope by the Feds as well. I remember because my first foray into Fett, I ordered gloves and a jumpsuit and the whole transaction was done with Anton. It's been said that Anton, was Tom.
And hell no. They can't sue for anything. Even if they went through their local system, they can't extradite judgements. Hence why we've not been able to pluck Tom out of there. And as someone said, they're copyright violators and wouldn't risk the heat.

I think, that they still make deals with local U.S. residents to distribute their wares on eBay. They used to do it all the time. They used Randy5000 Chaucer44 and at least 6-10 others back in the day. Can't remember them all anymore. But they are usually just hubs here to sell their items.

In retrospect I have decided that not only amI leaving my old posts up, I am writing up a hatred free review of my experiences, including the current conversation. There will be no profanity, no unwarranted name calling, just 100% facts. That way no one can say I was biased or in any way was trying to "intentionally mislead".
I made this choice after our conversation, they turned around and used it to endorse their merch as "another 501s TDH member coming over to their side" epic tale of epic proportion. They have accused me of being brainwashed by naysayers and jumping on the SFP is bad bandwagon, and have continued to argue that their mis-colored gear is correct despite photographic evidence, even went so far as to claim Jeremy Bulloch approved it. his has left a bad taste in my mouth ever since, and I have decided that I will not be led by them to cease my review of an actual experience just becausew they chose to use a photo of me. In fact if they re post said photo I intend to fight back by taking every photo of their gear and making avoid the noid posters.

what i heard is that his wife is from the philippines and when the allegations against him surfaced and the fbi started to go after him,he upped sticks and fled there with the wife....hence his being based thereTheir website claims they have 100% customer satisfaction...
Well yea, i know, and you are correct, i meant this new name is also based in the Philippines, which in conjunction with the same pics, made me think it was SF.
i could be wrong but if this new managment are using the same pics and also based in the philippines i reckon its the same guy...too much of a coincidence im my humble opinion
