    FPH (Fettpride Helmet) * MOLDS*

    Hi Everyone,

Some of you already know this is coming so it won't come as a shock to everyone

I don't usually do this, but I'm moving on to another helmet project. Not necessarily better. Different. The FPH has been revered as possibly the best fan made helmet ever made available to TDH. I don't say that to be arrogant, as I wasn't the only one involved with this by a long shot

There is no sense in leaving these molds sitting on a mold library shelf forever and seeing them go to waste. I'm a little partial to - and sentimental about the "FPH" (for obvious reasons) so I want to see it live on. I am considering letting them go to a good new home that will do them some justice.

Since it's not a run of the mill item, with a lot attached to it, I'm not putting it in the cargo hold yet as I want to gauge serious interest as there will be a little bit to discuss before a price can be determined. I'm not thinking about asking a fortune for these - but more, I want to make sure they're going to a reputable person.

    What is pictured -

    FPH "Master"
    Ear Cap Masters
    RF Mster
    RF Topper Master
    FPH mold
    RF Topper Mold
    RF Clear Greeblie mold
    RF Stalk Mold
    Ear Cap Molds

The primary helmet mold is the second mold and still has MUCH life left in it. I would prefer not to say publicly how many pulls have come out of the mold for obvious reasons (clears throat) but I will discuss it in PM. Most of the greeblie molds are new. If you are familiar with molding - you'll know there is a LOT of work in these molds - a lot of time and $$ saved in the long run for YOU.

The consideration here is caring on the FPH for TDH and future troopers. If you have casting skills and are interested in carrying on this beautiful helmet, please feel free to contact me.

    Best,

    Chris

I have to say this would be a great helmet for me to make generics out of

And customs. Something to 'sculpt on top of'.

    Chris, you make me ache.

Such a beautiful masterpiece. Shocking Chris you are letting this
go and I hope it will be in a great home. If I only had the time.
    Good Luck!

I'm still going to offer helmets guys ... just not this one if someone buys the molds

Alternatively, if anyone still wants one before the molds go, I can do that too

Awesome stuff, hopefully whoever gets it will continue to produce them! Also you posted it in the wrong section... And I believe the rules state you've got to post a price...

I specifically stated that this was not a for sale thread There is much more involved - a price can't be placed on this without further discussion. It's merely a thread to gauge if there is any interest in carrying on a "service". If the mods would rather I place this in the Cargo Hold, I will certainly do so

Chris I would be so interested in these molds if I didn't have so many in my library myself haha. Anyways just wanted to say that these are beautiful molds and hope that the person that gets these takes great care of them as they are rich with TDH history in them.

So you'd have a 'second' FPH mould that you would still sell copies from Chris? or a different direction.

Re: FPH (Fettpride Helmet) * MOLDS*

    Different helmet direction

If the FPH mold posted here goes - I will no longer produce them again. And being that this is the second FPH mold - that leaves question to where the first FPH mold went, so I understand where that question comes from. The short answer is, the first FPH mold met an untimely death. Accidentally actually. But you'll be happy to know that it lives on in the second FPH mold posted here .... as ground up silicone filler used in the making of the very mold posted here

So realistically - there are two molds in one ! I should charge double !

I'm kidding of course. But the short answer is ... what is pictured above is all that exists for the FPH. In case it was missed, the master will be included.

Oh, Mojo - A sad PM sent to buddy

    Hi Chris,
I was wondering if you had any spare RF Clear Greeblie mold.. as my kit was missing this part, i would settle for seconds if you have them.

So does this mean that you (Chris) won't be offering this Boba Helmet (the FPH) anymore ...

Does it mean you're going to offer some other Boba helmet later?

Re: FPH (Fettpride Helmet) * MOLDS*

I think its obvious how much chris cares for the community. This mold, in its self, is a thing of beauty. Usually a mold, is a ugly piece of silicone that has been wrapped around an item, cut/peeled off, and it serves a function.

Chris's molds, however, I would buy just to display on a shelf. No kidding.

I think the emphasis here, is that chris wants these to go somewhere and to someone, that is dependable and skilled. As he wants it to continue to be produced reliably.

These molds hold a value in the thousands. Which could be made up pretty quickly I might add.

I really hope that the right person picks these up and makes a great product.

    That about sums it up.

Chris, I hope this finds a good home! And I can't wait to see where this mysterious "new direction" helmet thing is going...
