Found the guy that ripped me off

I finally found the rpf user that ripped me off on ebay. Their ebay username "Triomiret" and their RPF name> Korbanth
I bought a master replicas 327th star corps trooper helmet off them, after multiple pm's I was assured the damage I saw in the photo's was painted on. So, I bought it- once I received it I removed the black paint only to find that underneath was an ungodly amount of 100% REAL damage. As compensation for this I was only refunded $20.... no further pm's were replied to by this ebay user. All of this happened months ago last year of course- I just wanted to point out to anyone else buying from this seller SHOULD triple, quadruple check what they are getting

If I saw the real damage I wouldn't have even paid $50

If you are still concerned, you should PM an Admin at RPF to let him know of the situation. That might kickstart Korbanth into rectifying this situation further...

I bought a lot of Boba stuff from Tiromiret before I discovered TDH (Helmet, JetPack, Flightsuit, Armor, Gauntlets, etc). I am in the process of replacing every thing I bought from him. It was an expensive mistake. In comparison to what I thought I was getting, the stuff I received was quite a bit lower in quality. Its too bad, because he had a really nice looking Imperial Guard that I had wanted as well........

If you still think he ripped you of, and that´s the way i understand your post, then it´s not to late.

Go to the RPF and see if you can get a reaction from him regarding your complains - maybe he listens when there are more people watching, maybe cause he might be afraid to loose customers. And if nothing happens, you can warn much more people there than here.

Generally he is a well known guy, selling kits and stuff on a regulary basis for years. I havn´t heard of him having a bad reputation - but maybe that gives you a point to get him. Maybe he wouldn´t want his reputation blamed in front of his potential customers.

If not, posting it here and not there (you could warn much more people there, if it really your intention to warn people) is fruitless.

I'm still on my newbie account on trpf, and I'm merely posting it here for those that have also bought from him. I'm not going to start up a "I want my money back" sort of thing
